When bubbles burst,
Is it just air? Or a dream from another world?
When bubbles burst, what remains?
Only a whisper, a thought, a fleeting happiness.
Just like life, so ephemeral and brief,
This bubble is a mirror, of pain and of downfall.

But if we’re lucky, and we look closely,
We find in its fragility, a deeper meaning.

It quietly asks us: What do you see within?
Is it the end? Or a new beginning?

When bubbles decay. — B-Burst begins with a physical event: a dripped bubble in varnish before it dries.
In the digital work, animated SVG paths move, erode, and disappear at the bottom edge, as if form were always on the verge of dissolving.

The animation is orchestrated by JavaScript using D3.js. Elements are systematically moved and removed to create continuous motion —
a loop of recreation and destruction that mirrors the unpredictable flow of varnish as it spreads and eventually solidifies.

Materiality

B-Burst transfers the artist’s dripping logic into code. Control and letting go remain in tension: rules are set, but the image behaves like substance —
flowing, tearing open, reorganizing itself, and then becoming final.
